Recommended Applications

  • Ideal for EDM / Spark Erosion
  • Ideal for Grinding
  • Ideal for Machining Centers
  • Ideal for Industrial Saws
  • Ideal for Food Processing
  • Ideal for Lathes
  • Ideal for Parts Washing

Benefits

  • Keeps oil mist, smoke, and coolant vapour out of the air your team breathes, supporting a cleaner and safer working environment.
  • Lightweight and ultra-compact, the FX & S Series mount directly to the machine enclosure, or can be installed on floor stands or wall/machine brackets when direct mounting isn’t practical.
  • Constructed in standard mild steel, with stainless steel options available for corrosive or hazardous environments such as food-grade or high-humidity applications.
  • Uses proven centrifugal filtration to capture oil mist particles without disposable filter media in the primary stage, reducing ongoing consumable costs.
  • Scales with your operation — start with the S Series for a single machine and move up to the FX Series as airflow demands grow.

Options

  • Pre-filters – extend primary filter life by capturing larger particulate before it reaches the collector
  • Afterfilters – high-efficiency secondary filtration for purifying exhaust air before it re-enters the workspace
  • Mounting Stands – for installations where direct machine mounting isn’t practical
  • F Monitors – real-time performance monitoring for proactive maintenance
  • F Save – energy-saving control technology shown to reduce energy consumption on oil mist extraction significantly in real-world installations

Frequently asked questions

What is an oil mist collector used for?

An oil mist collector removes airborne oil mist, smoke, and coolant vapour generated during CNC machining, grinding, and metalworking, protecting worker health and keeping the workspace clean.

What's the difference between the S Series and FX Series oil mist collectors?

The S Series covers airflow from 180–950 m³/hr and suits most single-machine applications. The FX Series scales up to 1,250–2,750 m³/hr for larger machines, multi-spindle setups, or higher-volume production environments. Both use the same centrifugal separation technology.

Can these units be mounted directly on my machine?

Yes. Both series are designed for direct machine mounting, and can also be installed using floor stands or wall/machine brackets where direct mounting isn’t feasible.

Are the S and FX Series available in stainless steel?

Yes, stainless steel construction is available for corrosive, humid, or hazardous environments such as food and beverage or high-corrosion applications.

How Filtermist Units Work

Benefits

  • Frees up floor space by mounting directly onto the machine instead of needing a separate footprint in the workshop.
  • Protects air quality and worker health by removing oil mist, smoke, and coolant vapour at the source.
  • Lowers running costs by recovering oil for re-use and avoiding disposable filter media in the primary stage.
  • Scales with your operation; start with the S Series for a single machine and step up to the FX Series as airflow needs grow, without switching product families.

Features

  • Centrifugal separation technology (see “How Filtermist Units Work” below)
  • Standard mild steel construction; stainless steel available for corrosive, food-grade, or high-humidity environments
  • Mounting options: direct machine mount, floor stand, or wall/machine bracket (FX Series: floor stand or machine-mount)
