The Stuart Career Center required high quality air filtration equipment to protect their pipefitting and welding students from dangerous welding gases, fumes and smoke which can cause a multitude of long term health problems such as larynx, lung and urinary tract cancer.

Diversitech supplied 18 state-of–the–art telescopic fume arms with interconnecting ductwork to an Airhawk cartridge dust collector equipped with 18 of the highest efficiency Nanofiber MERV 15 filter cartridges and a compressed air-operating cleaning system.

Diversitech installed twenty (20) 2×4 Downdraft tables with a red powder coat color along with twenty-six (26) 5×5 welding booths for Baton Rouge colleges across the state of Louisiana.

Diversitech installed nine (9) Welding Booths with special backdraft hoods. These booths provide a safe and functional welding envirnment free of smoke and dust, protecting students.

Diversitech installed nine (9) Mini Downdraft
Tables with special side trays. These tables offer
a “Hands Free Capture at Source” of smoke and dust before
they reach the student’s breathing zone.

Diversitech offers many solutions for safe removal of welding fume and smoke. In the case of Lincoln Tech, we have supplied over one-hundred (100) Downdraft Tables to various locations, with table dimensions & configurations designed to meet each instructors/schools particular needs.
