Absolent AB Acquires Diversitech

Purchased by Absolent Group AB of Lidköping, Sweden, Diversitech will serve as Absolent Group’s third growth platform following the existing metal machining and dust bulk handling platforms.

Move to Expanded Facilities

As a result of continued growth, and to address the need for expanded production, Diversitech moves Corporate Headquarters into its new 69,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facilities located in Montreal, Canada.

Diversitech introduces the Typoon Central Wet Dust Collector, providing high efficiency and external static pressure capabilities.

2016

Typhoon WX Series

Diversitech upgrades its line of Wet Dust Collectors with the Typhoon WX Series with online refill and other improved features to eliminate combustible dust fires and flammable sparks from industrial processes.

2015

Monsoon Wet Downdraft Tables

Diversitech compliments its line of Wet Downdraft Tables and Wet Dust Collectors with the new Monsoon Wet Downdraft Tables, designed to provide a safe and secure solution for the capture and collection of hazardous combustible dust.

2013

FRED Fume Tracker

After years of research & development, Diversitech introduces the FRED Fume Tracker – the world’s first Self-Positioning Fume Extraction Arm for Hassle-Free Welding.

2011

Green Filter Cleaning Machine

Diversitech introduces the Green Filter Cleaning Machine, a patented cartridge filter cleaning station that allows for the recycling of dirty cartridge filters.

2006

Industrial DD Downdraft Tables

Diversitech launches the DD line of Industrial Downdraft Tables. These modular tables can be configured into thousands of custom configurations to suit each customer’s application.

1999

DD Downdraft Tables

The Mini DD and DD 2×4, Diversitech’s single phase portable downdraft tables are offered to customers for the first time. The Diversitech DD Downdraft Tables feature Diversitech’s 5-stage spark arrestance system to protect filters from flammable sparks

1995

FRED Fume Extractors

Diversitech launches the FRED family product line of fume extractor & dust collector products. The original FRED Fume Extractors featured a fire engine red color and were commonly referred to as “Red Fred”.

1994

Introducing ICS-360

Diversitech introduces its groundbreaking and patented, Injection Cleaning System (ICS-360) available in the portable dust collection product line.

1992

First Proprietary Product

Diversitech introduces its first portable smoke & dust collector featuring a cylindrical cartridge filter. Its success spawns a shift towards designing and developing engineered industrial air filtration solutions.

1986

Diversitech Is Founded

DIVERSITECH EQUIPMENT AND SALES (1984) LTD. is incorporated in Montreal, Quebec, Canada with a mission to improve indoor air quality in industrial facilities by designing high-performance industrial air filtration equipment.
